Our construction client located in Fullerton, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with 1-2 years of construction accounting experience to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Analyze and process invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system for processing.
• Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and ensure alignment with company policies.
• Handle progress payment processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage lien administration, including prelim notices, waivers, and releases.
• Coordinate joint check processing and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of construction accounting experience.
• Proven experience with lien administration.
• Preferred experience in joint check distribution.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (experience with [Insert Specific System, if applicable] is a plus).

Employment Type: Full time, On-site
Compensation: $27 p/h to 32 p/h
